Country of Origin - Paraguay
Characteristics - Produced from the leaves and twigs of the same tree that produces bitter orange oil and neroli or orange blossom oil. The name derives from the fact that the oil used to be extracted from the small green unripe oranges - "little grains". One of the ingredients in classic eau de cologne.
Properties & benefits - Calming, refreshing and uplifting. Calms anger and panic. Calming to the nervous system. Deodorising and has a tonic effect on the skin.
Blends well with - eucalyptus, lavender, lemon, marjoram, rosemary, spearmint
General Methods of Use of Essential Oils -
Inhalation - 1-2 drops on a tissue or 3-4 drops in a bowl of warm water. (this method not to be used for asthmatics) Baths - 5-6 drops in a full drawn bath. Mix well just before getting in. Massage - add 2-3 drops to every 10ml of carrier oil
