Environmental Policy
At Essence of Wellbeing, we recognise we have a responsibility to the environment we live in and to reduce the cumulative impact of our operations and business activities.
As such we have developed an environmental policy, which is used to underpin our key business decisions and operations. The key principles of this policy are outlined below:
Ø Our products contain only natural ingredients
Ø We avoid the use of artificial or potentially harmful or irritant ingredients
Ø We do not test any of our products on animals
Ø We avoid excessive use of product packaging, our focus being on the quality of the content of our products, not the cosmetic appearance of the packaging.
Ø We use recyclable packaging wherever possible
Ø Our use of office consumables is sourced from environmentally aware sources, all products are from recycled, recyclable or renewable sources as appropriate and where possible
Ø We recycle packaging material received where possible to limit the wastage of resources.
Ø We operate an Office and Business recycling policy in respect of our waste material and office products (i.e. recycling of printer cartridges, paper & cardboard, etc.)
Ø We use only biodegradable cleaning products.
We continually monitor the latest environmental trends, updating our policy and procurement processes accordingly, to ensure the minimisation of our environmental footprint. |
