1. What personal information do we collect?

(a) The Essence of Wellbeing website collects personal information when a user chooses to Check Out to complete their purchase. This information is stored to enable the order to be processed and delivered or to allow us to contact a user in relation to an order.

(b) The Essence of Wellbeing website also collects and stores personal information when a user chooses to register an account, submits a contact form, and/or subscribes to our newsletter.

If you subscribe to our newsletter we use Mailchimp to communicate with you. Information that we collect includes your name and email address and subscription preferences.

(c) The Essence of Wellbeing website collects anonymous session information which allows as to analysis the trends of users on our site. This is done to allow us to see what sells and what doesn’t.

To do this we use the Google Analytics service from “Google” to analyse our website visitors. Google uses cookies. The information generated by the cookie about the use of the online product or service by users is generally transferred to a Google server in the USA and stored there. Google will use this information on our behalf to evaluate the use of our online products and services by users, to compile reports on the activities within these online products and services and to provide us with further services associated with the use of these online products and services and the use of the internet.

Users can prevent cookies from being stored by adjusting the settings to their browser software accordingly.

(d) Essence of Wellbeing does not retain any credit card information for purchases made in our online store. Online credit card purchases are processed directly through either the Stripe processing system, or via PayPal’s systems (depending on customers’s selection at checkout).

2. How is your personal information stored?

(a) Personal information which is given to Essence of Wellbeing upon the completion of an order is stored in our on-line database.

(b) Personal information is stored in our accounts system when an invoice/receipt is generated during order processing.

(c) Personal information is stored for the purpose of maintaining our mailing list and providing up to date information for our subscribers regarding products, offers and events. You may choose to unsubscribe from this list at any time.

3. How can you access your personal information to update or remove it?

(a) You can access your information in the on-line database at any time by logging in, and updating your information as required.

(b) You may also email us at sales@essenceofwellbeing.com.au with your updated information.

(c) If you wish your personal information to be removed from our online database, and/or our accounts system or to unsubscribe from our mailing list or newsletter, email us at sales@essenceofwellbeing.com.au

4. Who has access to your personal information?

(a) Essence of Wellbeing staff who require access to your personal information to carry out delivery of products and services related to Essence of Wellbeing and to maintain a level of service as expected by our customers, have access to your personal information.

(b) Third parties (e.g. couriers) only have access to such of your personal information as is reasonably required to carry out delivery of products and services related to Essence of Wellbeing and to maintain a level of service as expected by our customers.
